It’s not everyday that Stamford gets a new restaurant but on 11th June 2025 a license was approved for Panevino Italian Restaurant, which will be located at The Riverside in Wharf Road, Stamford. It’s owner Dmitrij Bliumin already has a Panevino restaurant in Sleaford and so it will be interesting to see what culinary staples and surprises he brings when his restaurant opens in Stamford.
His license, approved by South Kesteven District Council allowing alcohol to be served from 10am to midnight and well as live and recorded music to be played at the currently empty venue (it was previously home to beauty salon AUK and hairdressers Thomas and Thomas). The venue has an outdoor seating area that overlooks the river and (despite some objections on the grounds of possible noise etc) the option to dine al fresco in such a beautiful setting will surely appeal to many.
