The Golden Fleece in Stamford, Lincolnshire is a traditional English pub in the heart of the town. It has a comfortable yet characterful setting and is a nice spot to have a pint or opt for tasty, reasonably priced pub grub .There’s a wide selection of drinks on offer too.
On occasion the venue hosts quiz nights, ensuring that there’s more on the Golden Fleece social calendar than a friendly pint. There are TVs too providing a nice spot for when the big match is playing. There’s seating out front of the pub, providing a view of nearby Georgian buildings as well as a great spot to watch the world go by.
While the Golden Fleece used to be dog friendly, sadly it no longer is, so if you’re planning a pooch pub crawl this pub might not be the best spot for you. Dogs are however allowed in the outside area.
