Being a regular at the local Stamford Leisure Pool (which itself has a gym) for a year has kept me at decent / less terrible fitness levels than I otherwise would’ve been. Prices have gone up of late though, now at £27.99 a month which to be honest is at the top end of what I’d want to pay.
For those more into the gym side of things, there is now the 24/7 PureGym as an option too (at Stamford Retail Park, Ryhall Road). Their flyer came flying through my letterbox this morning. The no contrast aspect is certainly appealing and free classes are included also. The ‘opening offer’ is £25.99 for three months (normally £28.99) and £15 joining fee. The 24 hour aspect is a big draw, and I would think thre gym equipment comprehensive. Personally I’ll be sticking with the leisure centre for now, but it’s nice to have another, more flexible option around for gym lovers. Feel free to comment with your exercise of it if you’ve been!
