From Wednesday 14th – Sunday 18th August Woods Fun fair comes to Stamford. It’ll be on Stamford Recreation Ground (PE9 1EN) and will feature stalls and all of your favourite fair rides (waltzers, the sizzler, dodgems, the Extreme – which I had the pleasure to try out earlier in the year and was certainly a ‘memorable’ experience!). Rides open from 2pm so come along if you have the stomach for it.
Fun for all the family, the event has typically taken place in October each year but in recent years its turned into a summer fair and we certainly have the weather for that right now! The family run fair has been going for 30 years plus now, so you’re in good hands.
