Stamford Arts Centre – Cinema, theatre, workshops, talks and music. Some events are also on in the Arts Centre Cellar Bar
Stamford Corn Exchange – From music (Will Young etc), comedy, plays, live shows, open mic nights, spoken word and more
Burghley Events – Food markets, Sculpture, art exhibitions, tours, talks and workshops. Music, and there’s even a Halloween trail and Burghley Santa Fun Run. The Burghley Horse Trials too of course!
Tolethorpe Open Air Theatre – Theatre performances in a beautiful outdoor setting. Usually two Shakespeare and one or two other plays each year. Well worth getting tickets.
Mama Liz’s (Voodoo Lounge) – Regular and very varied music nights and DJs in this quirky and cool venue. Maur played recently, check out the Youtube footage of the entire setlist.
Stamford Meadow (Bath Row), a beautiful riverside green space running along the banks of the River Welland holds events too. It’s set on the edge of the town centre and offers fantastic views of Stamford’s church spires and skyline. Perfect for picnics and walks, events held include the Stamford Garden & Food Fair (Sunday 11th May) , Big Day Out (July) where a raft race and tug-of-war featured, Stamford Car Show (24th August) and Stamford Dog Show and Family Fun Day (14th September).
Live music can sometimes also be heard in The London Inn, Twelve All Saints, The Green Man and some other Stamford pubs and bars.
Stamford churches also sometimes hold events and shows. St Martin’s Church hosts A Coldplay Candlelight Experience In Stamford on Friday 3rd October 2025 for instance.
