stamford market

Stamford has one of the best markets in the region. Strictly speaking on the Friday it’s a farmers market combined with the regular friday market. The farmers market is also in Grantham every other Saturday, should you wish to check it out in that Lincolnshire town.

Some market traders are part of Stamford market every week, others more occasionally and so there’s often something new to see. In total there are around 70-80 traders on the Friday, with a smaller market on Saturday (at Red Lion Square and High Street) of about 20 traders. Stamford market trades between 8.30am and 4pm on the Friday, so you’ve got plenty of time to experience it. Fresh produce (veg, meat, eggs, cheese), crafts, garden (plants and flowers), there’s something for everyone. It’s a bustling and friendly environment, not to be missed.

If you run a stall at Stamford market and also run a website for the business, get in touch and we can possibly list it here can what people can take a look!

The Stamford Christmas Market is even more impressive. To see some pictures and get a flavour of how it went this year, then click through for a write up and images.
